The Role
We are looking for a skilled Frontend Developer with a strong focus on mobile applications and excellent experience with React Native. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our user-facing applications, which serve as the critical interface for our smart devices and AI technologies. You will work closely with our backend and architecture team to bring our products to life, building a high-quality, responsive, and engaging user experience. A key and exciting challenge of this position will be to implement connectivity with IoT devices and run AI models locally on our mobile apps. The ideal candidate is passionate about mobile development and has a proven track record of building beautiful and performant applications with React Native..
Key Responsibilities

Mobile App Development: Lead the development of our mobile applications using React Native. You will be responsible for the entire mobile application lifecycle, from design and development to deployment and maintenance.

Smart Device and AI Integration: Implement connectivity with smart devices over Bluetooth and cellular (4G/5G) networks. Deploy and run optimized AI models directly on mobile devices for real-time, offline-first capabilities.

UI/UX Implementation: Collaborate with the team to translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, reusable, and performant code.

API Integration: Work closely with our backend engineers to integrate with our RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and a responsive user experience.

Performance and Quality: Optimize application performance for speed and scalability, with a special focus on the computational and memory constraints of running AI models and managing device connections. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

Collaboration: Actively participate in an agile team, contributing to sprint planning, code reviews, and feature development.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

3+ years of professional frontend development experience, with a strong portfolio of React Native applications. Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.

Deep understanding of the React Native framework, its core principles, and its ecosystem. 1

Experience with mobile hardware APIs (e.g., Bluetooth LE) and managing network connectivity.

Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode and Android Studio.

Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
Desired Skills

Experience with on-device machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow Lite, Core ML) and the challenges of mobile AI deployment.
